PCS A to Z: T is for Trade union education

PCS provides a comprehensive programme of training for workplace reps including courses for reps who have specific roles, such as health and safety reps or learning reps. This ensures our reps are skilled, knowledgeable and up to date on current law and relevant policies.

We offer many courses on a wide range of equality, organising and campaigning subjects, many of which are available for any member to attend.

Many of our courses are available as one hour online “taster” sessions, and then you can sign up for the full course if you decide it is something that you’re interested in or will benefit you in your job or union role.

We have courses on green workplaces and climate justice, bullying, neurodiversity, trans equality, disability awareness and many more topics.

Most of our courses are run online, on Zoom or Teams, and are available wherever you are based.

We also run personal development courses such as a recent Life Writing course facilitated by published authors. These are advertised on the courses/events page of our website.
