News
The Young Members' Seminar in Newcastle provided an opportunity for young PCS activists from across the UK to get together and share their experiences of recent campaigns and organising young members in their workplaces.
The staff have been offered only a 3% pay increase despite the improved civil service pay remit of 4.5-5%.
The consultative ballot is the perfect opportunity to get organising for future action, particularly in areas without a live strike ballot.
If you’d like to help out with the ballot in your workplace and get more involved, you can become a PCS Advocate.
The ballot comes after the employer refused to pay the ÂŁ1,500 cost of living payment.
