PCS reps are pursuing outstanding issues with G4S and Mitie
PCS members being forced to work extra night shifts are to strike for 2 days having voted overwhelmingly for strike action after being told to work extra night shifts to cover for a lack of staff.
94% of members who voted said they were prepared to take strike action after being told they must work extra night shifts.
PCS is concerned that MMO contracts will be forcibly changed due to Defra instruction. We are defending members rights and this updates on the current position following a Civil Service World article.
Next week, PCS is holding Fringe events at Labour Party Conference. Also there is an online older workers' event, promoting dignity and peoples rights.
