E-actions

E-action campaigns are a fast, effective and accessible way to lobby and petition decision-makers.

Our e-actions enable members and supporters to send targeted emails to key figures such as MPs, government ministers, London Assembly members, police and crime commissioners, and permanent secretaries.

E-actions are a vital part of PCS’s campaigning, enabling us to take action quickly and collectively. They have been used to support a wide range of union priorities, including:

  • Intervening in industrial disputes to protect members’ pay, conditions and rights
  • Preventing office closures
  • Challenging arbitrary return-to-office mandates
  • Influencing key votes in Westminster
  • Inviting MPs to union events.

E-actions don’t always target constituency MPs; they can be directed at other influential figures depending on the campaign’s focus, for example specific government ministers, chief executives or members of devolved parliaments.

Please see below for all current e-actions that you can complete.
