PCS secures 7.5% pay rise for members at The Pensions Regulator
Victory comes after long-running campaign by Brighton-based workers
Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union members working at The Pensions Regulator are to receive pay rises of up to 7.55% after breakthrough negotiations.
The Brighton-based workers took more than 60 days’ strike action during their long-running campaign for a fair pay rise and now the majority of them will receive a rise of at least 6%, with several hundred receiving 7.55%.
PCS general secretary Fran Heathcote said: “This hard-fought and groundbreaking above-inflation pay outcome is just reward for our members who wouldn’t back down during their long struggle.
“We hope other employers will sit up and take notice that there really is power in a union.”
