ARMs Yorkshire & Humber Day Trip
We will be going to the William Wilberforce Museum in Hull on Wednesday 22 July 2026.
All Yorkshire and the Humber ARMs members and their families are welcome.
Meet at noon at Hull Railway Station, outside WH Smith.
Admission to the museum is free.
The William Wilberforce Museum was the birthplace of the anti slavery campaigner William Wilberforce. It is now a museum highlighting the realities of the trans-Atlantic slave trade and its legacies. There are journals and artefacts that belonged to Wilberforce, along with important items linked to slavery, abolition and West African culture.
Nearby are other interesting museums, like the Streetlife Museum and the East Riding Museum that people can visit if they wish. They are all in a line on High Street. The High Street area itself is interesting as the main Street in Hull’s "old town".
If you would like to come along, please email [email protected].
