PCS protest and vigil demanding an end to the war on Gaza

PCS is calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire to the war on Gaza and, as part of the workplace day of action organised by the Stop the War Coalition, is calling on members to assemble during their lunch break (in their own time) outside parliament opposite Old Palace Yard from 1-2pm on Wednesday, 29 November. 

We are inviting all cross-government and departmental equality and religious networks to join us. We will hear from those calling for an immediate ceasefire, including members of the PCS Parliamentary Group who voted in parliament for a ceasefire. 

Some members will want to hold a minute’s silence, vigil or prayer - all of this will be accommodated within the hour. We will be holding regular events like this and joining the trade union bloc on anti-war demonstrations. Join us and email [email protected] for more information.
