ADC 2026: a preview
We look ahead to PCS’s annual delegate conference (ADC), which takes place next week from 19 to 21 May.
At our annual delegate conference (ADC) and group conferences, PCS activists, chosen to attend by their members at their annual general meetings (AGMs), will have the opportunity to shape union policy by debating a series of motions.
ADC is our central policy-making body. Delegates representing members and branches across the UK will be asked to vote on motions deciding our policy which our national executive committee will implement throughout the year.
Their decisions will determine our way forward over the coming year as we continue to strive to build our union in both the public and commercial sectors. That is why our annual conference sits at the heart of union democracy.
Another major benefit of conference is the space it provides for reps to meet other reps, build contacts, discuss common issues and sharing solutions, whether at fringe meetings or social events. Use the tag #PCSADC to follow and contribute your posts.
It will also be a hybrid conference for those who are unable to attend in person in Brighton. A livestream will be available for members on the homepage of PCS Digital.
Members will be able to follow what's happening at conference through regular updates on our website, news will be tagged together on one page, and our various social media channels. Whether you attend in person or from your laptop, we hope you will be inspired to continue to build our union.
