Colin Young

It is with sadness we report that Colin Young passed away on 1 December after a short illness.

Colin’s funeral will be held on 18 December in Paisley, Scotland.

Colin’s loyalty and devotion to the people he worked with were amongst his defining attributes. Active in his union for his entire working life, Colin was a fierce advocate for workers’ rights, standing up for his colleagues if they had trouble at work.

Being a union rep meant so much to him and he had a deep faith in those he represented and worked hard to make the workplace better for everyone.

He will be missed.
