DWP Consultative Ballot – Expect a Call From PCS on Super Saturday
With the DWP online consultative ballot on pay running until 10 October it is crucial everyone votes and our activists are working hard to deliver a big yes vote, including joining a Super Saturday event this weekend (4).
Our DWP group is running the on Saturday (4) where reps will be contacting members who have not yet voted, speaking to them about the ballot and the importance of voting.
The voting link, along with codes has been issued in emails from [email protected] to all members with a personal email addressed registered with PCS. Please ensure you check your inbox, junk, spam, and deleted folders. Members without registered emails will get a letter with login details.
Get involved
It is essential that reps and advocates get involved in contacting members about the ballot, encouraging them to vote. Join us in calling members using ‘Movement’ the new ‘CallHub’ service.
All reps have been issued with details of the replacement for ‘Callhub’ which went live last week. All reps and activists should register for this service using the link they have received and plan some time to contacting members regarding the consultation. PCS digital is automatically updated by the ‘Movement’ application.
Reps can make calls every day between 8am and 8pm between now and the end of the ballot. We want as many reps as possible to be making calls on Super Saturday and are telling members to expect a call.
Calls are easy to make; you do not need a laptop or computer as they can be made from your phone using the ‘Movement’ system. As with ‘Callhub’ your phone number is not used or displayed in any way.
Calls can be made from home. PCS offices in London and Birmingham will be open, and reps can arrange to come into those offices to make calls. If any branches would like to come into other PCS offices, please contact [email protected]
Please do everything you can to contact members.
