Join the MyCSP Megapicket

The MyCSP strikers in Liverpool will be marking the start of their 13th week of action with a Megapicket, joined by general secretaries and MPs.

On Monday 29 September, PCS members working for MyCSP will be starting their 13th week of strike action in their dispute over their employer’s refusal to recognise, and negotiate with, PCS.

Members have been out on the picket line every weekday outside 40 Tithebarn Street, Liverpool L2 2BW.

To mark the start of the 13th week of strike action, and coinciding with the Labour Party conference which is being held in Liverpool, the strikers will be holding a “megapicket” from 7:30 – 10am.

Confirmed speakers at the megapicket are:

  • Jo Grady, UCU general secretary,
  • Paul Nowak, TUC general secretary,
  • Fran Heathcote PCS general secretary.

Other speakers are yet to be confirmed and we hope that the megapicket will be joined in solidarity by Labour MPs attending the conference.

We will have a van providing free coffees and refreshments to the pickets, paid for by the TUC, and will be having a drink and refreshments in the Lion Tavern, 67 Moorfields, immediately after the picket ends at 10am.
