Last chance to vote in NEC elections

The ballot to choose who represents you on our national executive committee closes on Friday at noon.

The ballot to choose who represents you on the PCS national executive committee (NEC) is postal only. Today is the last day that you can post your ballot paper with a chance for it to arrive by the deadline of noon on Friday.

The NEC is made up of the president, deputy president, three vice-presidents and 30 committee members. Its role is to direct the work of the union and ensure that the policies decided by our annual delegate conference (ADC) are implemented.

The candidates are all ordinary PCS members who have been nominated by their branches, and the election is your opportunity, as a member of a democratic trade union, to select the people who represent you.

You can read the candidates' election addresses on PCS Knowledge. Please read them carefully to find out which policies the candidates support and for existing NEC members, find out what they have done over the last year.

The postal-only ballot closes at noon on 8 May. It’s important that you have your say in who is elected to the NEC and who represents you, both in running PCS and in negotiating with employers and government.
