Midlands members invited to attend AGM on 24 July

PCS members in the Midlands are strongly encouraged to take part in our AGM, whether by attending, standing for election, or engaging with your representatives. It is your chance to have a voice and influence the work of the union in the year ahead

The AGM is a crucial opportunity for members to shape the direction of the region, hear from national leaders, and take part in important discussions about the future of our union movement.

Members who wish to attend, either in person or online, should speak to their branch representatives as soon as possible to secure a place and ensure their participation.

This year’s AGM features an impressive line-up of guest speakers, offering valuable insight and leadership perspectives, including:

  • Fran Heathcote, PCS General Secretary
  • Gawain Little, General Secretary of the GFTU
  • Stuart Richards, TUC Midlands Regional Secretary.

Their contributions promise to make the AGM an informative and engaging event, covering key issues affecting workers across the Midlands and beyond.

In addition, nominations are now open for positions on the Midlands regional committee. This is an important opportunity for members to step forward, represent their colleagues, and play an active role in shaping regional priorities. Members interested in standing should submit nominations through their branch.
