DWP must do better on chronic low pay
PCS members in Department for Work and Pensions have been sent a reminder to vote urging them to cast their ballot and send a message to their employer that it must do better and address chronic low pay.
We are running an online consultative ballot on members’ willingness to take action on pay.
PCS rejected the DWP’s final pay offer for 2025–26 and has moved to ballot members.
The final offer fails to address the serious issue of chronic low pay. Again AAs, AOs and some EOs face the prospect of being on the National Living Wage (NLW) from April 2026.
