Your final chance to vote and have your say on Pay in DWP
The consultative ballot on the 2025/26 pay offer closes at noon on Friday 10 October.
It is crucial that members in the Department for Work and Pensions vote in the pay ballot and send a powerful message to the employer to address chronic low pay.
The consultative ballot closes at noon on Friday 10 October. The ballot is online, and you can only vote using the link sent in the email from the independent balloting service - from [email protected]. It was sent out again on 1 October to those who hadn’t yet voted. Please check your junk and spam folders and follow the instructions in the email.
A further and final email will be issued on Tuesday 7 October.
Leo, a DWP young member, said “I voted yes to strike in the consultative ballot because I think it’s good that all members get equal pay rises, especially those lower grades who have been on the verge of minimum wage.”
PCS would like to thank all activists who took part in the Super Saturday event, phoning DWP members, and also thank members who took the time to speak to us. It is clear from those conversations that pay in the department is causing serious issues and concerns amongst our members.
VOTE YES
Please vote in the ballot and encourage your colleagues to do the same. It is vital that we send a strong message to DWP and the UK government that PCS members will not accept poverty pay in the DWP. DWP must do better.
