PCS is an organising union. This means that everything we do is built on keen, active members, like you, who are willing to help build and promote PCS in every workplace.

Taking the first steps to getting more involved has never been easier.

There are two main ways in which you can become more active, and for both you will receive training and support.

One of the biggest assets PCS has is its members. 

By joining PCS you will be joining tens of thousands of other members across the civil service and related areas who want to stand up for better working conditions: for improved pay and contracts, protecting against redundancy and office closures and having a say on how your workplace is organised and run.
