We are committed to building the union, by growing our membership across the civil service and related areas and increasing the participation of our members.

PCS processes personally identifiable data and is registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Personal information you provide will be used to process and administer your membership, to represent you, to provide you with relevant information, and to provide PCS with management and statistical data to carry out its functions as a trade union. This will be done in compliance with data protection law.
There is a whole range of reasons you could find yourself needing legal advice at work.
From unfair dismissal to discrimination, the first port of call for PCS members should always be your local rep. You can find their details by logging into PCS Digital.
The best way to ensure you are protected at work is to have a strong, well organised union. Unionised workplaces with health and safety reps are safer.
PCS has more than 1,200 trained and accredited health and safety reps who carry out risk assessments, raise issues and provide support to make our workplaces safer for you and your colleagues.
