Communications with members based on their protected characteristics is important in PCS so we can promote positive action in the workplace, regions and nations.

We want to see more people getting involved in our union to make it look more like you. Our 5 national equality forums are devoted to working for women, black, disabled, young, and LGBT+ members. They aim to meet at least 3 times a year, with a remit to advise the national executive on policy and to exchange information and identify areas for guidance. No matter how rewarding your career, you may still find yourself in need of help or advice at some point in your working life. And PCS is here for you. If you work in the civil service, the public sector and in private sector companies delivering government contracts, your local PCS rep will always be your best port of call. You can find their details by logging into PCS Digital. As well as workplace problems, we can also help with some personal issues.
Together as PCS members and reps working across the UK civil service and related areas we can make great improvements at work.
